Caylent partnered with R&T to migrate its existing systems to a cloud-native AWS architecture designed for scale, resiliency, and operational agility. Two post-merger technology stacks were consolidated into a standardized, enterprise-grade environment powered by elastic compute and automated infrastructure.
Development and testing leveraged Amazon EC2 instances accessed via SSM tunnels, enabling on-demand changes in memory and processor resources by restarting machines—a flexibility that physical workstations did not offer. Multi-region disaster recovery was established with advanced CI/CD automation and immutable data copy. These changes eliminated existing tooling, simplified infrastructure management, and unlocked a faster pace of iteration.
A key accelerator in the transformation was the development of a synthetic data generation engine powered by generative AI. This solution enabled R&T to simulate realistic client portfolio scenarios and validate system performance under extreme growth conditions. Instead of relying solely on historical data, the organization can now proactively model future scale and regulatory complexity.
The performance impact was immediate. Database and application server performance improved by 30% during daily operations, and the platform was successfully stress-tested at 10 times the normal workload. This validated readiness for exponential institutional growth and gave leadership confidence that the system could scale to support 10-15 times more customers without compromising reliability.

R&T’s modernized platform runs on AWS-native infrastructure using Amazon EC2, Kubernetes, and Kafka to support rapid iteration and flexible development. Development environments use EC2 instances accessed via AWS Systems Manager (SSM), enabling on-demand changes in memory and processor resources by restarting machines. As the platform evolves, R&T is expanding its use of Amazon ECS, Amazon EventBridge, and AWS Lambda to reduce operational costs and deliver improved product scaling and compute agility. Amazon S3 underpins the application's storage needs, and for AI-driven capabilities, R&T leverages Amazon Q Developer with Claude models for data format analysis and synthetic data generation, and it uses Claude on Amazon Bedrock to validate data outputs against strict specifications—ensuring a scalable, AI-ready foundation.
